Katrina Kaif will break a few bones in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Phantom

Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan starrer Phantom, which is a counter-terrorism drama film, will be released on the 2nd of October 2014. The Sajid Nadiadwala film has completed its first two schedules in Beirut, Lebanon and Kashmir. Katrina and Saif will be sharing screen space for the first time. The two will seen in their best action avatars in the film. They have even done an underwater action sequence, which was shot in an Olympic-sized swimming pool. These scenes were filmed by Anees Adenwala, who has worked with both the actors in their previous films. This certified scuba diver and trainer has worked with Katrina Kaif, when she played a part-time scuba trainer in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and with Saif Ali Khan in Tashan. sajid Nadiadwala

The two had undergone training for the same and pulled off the scene very well. The fact that they both are skilled divers also made it easier for them to shoot the underwater stunts. These scenes are a very important part of the film and director Kabir Khan is very happy with the way they have turned out. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiawala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Speaking about what to expect from the movie, Sajid said, “It is an intense action-thriller and is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat”.

Katrina Kaif will also be seen doing stunts in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Bang Bang’, in which she is paired opposite Hrithik Roshan. This British beauty has worked very hard to make a place for herself in the industry. She has worked on her language, her accent and her acting. She has come a long way since her first release, Boom. She has started dubbing for her films and has even learnt Arabic for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Phantom as she plays a girl who is based in the United Arab Emirates. It will be interesting to see the fate of these two movies at the box office as they are going to release on the same day, the 2nd of October 2014.
